It is very important to remember though, that what your particular interests are, are not necessarily the most appropriate for the market you live in or are targeting. For example despite your love of the beach there is no point selling beach towels and bikinis in the coldest regions of Alaska. However that does not mean that you can not open your beachwear shop anyway; its just that you are given a different set of options in order to be successful, a) re-target your audience or b) move! In other words you are going to have to change the way this particular game is played to adapt to your turf!

If it really is within your means to relocate to your favorite beach spot then that would probably the preferable option; especially if you have a product that would be in demand by those living by the beach. If on the other hand you are frozen down to your place in Alaska, there is an option of
marketing to a different client base. Get your clothes worn by people in popular places, reviewed in some magazines, and get the right types of advertising done on the right types of websites. Let us not forget the power and reach of an online business and how your location does not matter in the virtual
world. All these activities will ensure relevant product exposure and appreciated by the right people at the same time. If you can buy into the perfect online business opportunity, master the techniques involved, you can literally be selling from anywhere that your heart desires.
